• Blogging is an easy way of expressing yourself about a trending topic or issue. An act of sharing your ideas through inspirational means
• Blogging helps you to improve your writing skills, if you want to be a successful blogger, you should be able to write and publish and not only sharing other people’s content
• Blogging helps you to become a published author. There is this female blogger who was encouraged by her blog fans to author a book because of her interesting content. After writing the book, she made thousands of dollar thereafter. Blogging is an avenue to train continuously in writing quality content.
• Blogging helps in improving your skills in different aspect e.g. Search Engine Optimization, Blog designing etc.
• Blogging is a way of making cash. The ultimate motive of most blogger is money making, it is not as easy as people think about making money from a blog but if the cards are played well, the promise land awaits you. This aspect of making money with blog will be broadly discussed later in this eBook
• Blogging is a way of building an online reputation. Many company in this information and media age are more interested in your online reputation. They go extra mile in digging into your Facebook, twitter, blog (if accessible) to know how responsible you are. If your name is linked with your blog, whenever your name is inserted in any search engine, your blog will defiantly pop up in the result
• Blogging also help you build online fan page. This is synonymous to building a targeted audience. All you have to do is to make them trust you and your blog with your quality blog content. DISADVANTAGES

• Consumes time: many blogs are dormant today because of its time consuming. Updating post, writing articles, even copy and paste bloggers are not easy. All these take a lot of time. Inability of bloggers to devote a lot of time to make their blog unique make them lose audience. Discouragement then set in, blog abandoned.
• Earning cash in blogging is not easy as many people think it is. This perception must be erased from young minds. Young minds have been brainwashed about blogging being a ritual way of making money. You can’t make money the next day you open a blog. Few make money in a month, with hard work and integrity, I can only assure you of 2-3 months before your first credit alert.
• Whatever you publish is at your own peril. Spoiled integrity is difficult to undo, if your integrity has been stained with what you post on a blog, it will be a great damage on your online reputation. If you post abusive post or comment in anytime can cause a great harm to you.
• No work while you are Ill. Definitely, there is no how you can cope when you are down. A day off without posting a post cost you lost of visitors and page viewers. So, if you are hospitalized and does not have access to your laptop or phone, it’s dangerous.
• Rude and inappropriate comments. Annoying comments may roll in at any time, it angered you and you bow to the influence of discouragement. You end up dropping your pen and taking your hands off your keyboard. But it doesn’t end there, it is part of life in blogging.
